Megan Zanesky

Megan Zanesky serves as the Director of Risk Management for the Town of Greenwich and the Greenwich Board of Education. She maintains and improves the risk management program, having founded the Town’s Cyber Security Task Force, supervises the defensive driving training program, and is a member of several safety committees.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Zanesky gained valuable expertise in law as an associate attorney in the private sector as well as a law clerk with the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2002 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2005. Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Zanesky dedicates her time and resources to those less fortunate through the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Lewy Body Dementia Association, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Greenwich Chapter of the United Way.

In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Zanesky is affiliated with the Public Risk Management Association, for which she works as a member of the relations and membership enhancement committee and as the President of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut chapter. She is working to establish a New England chapter of the Public Risk Management Association.  Most recently she has been selected to serve on the Advisory Panel for the Strategic Leadership: Managing a Remote Workforce Course at Pace University, Lubin School of Business.
