Henrietta Maria De Beer has an academic background in social work and public administration. Her work experience spans over 30 years in Human Resources Management (HRM) within the public sector and the United Nations (UN), including over 25 years of leadership roles in diverse, multi-cultural and politically sensitive environments. Henrietta’s experience is fully representative of corporate strategic results planning, implementation/execution of Human Resources (HR) strategies and reforms that support implementation of the UN’s agenda on the sustainable development goals.
Her attributes and achievements include: Efficient development of key HR policy reform initiatives backed by expert knowledge of the HR regulations, rules and policies. Timely delivery of sound and effective political and risk-based HR policy advice and provision of solutions based operational support, including rapid HR responses to situations in which personnel in multiple geographic settings are affected by conflict, natural disasters, health pandemics or economic crisis.
